Concerning Titles

So, I'm thinking about going for the Hattori Hanzou title, but I don't have enough pow right now (haven't really touched it at all) so I'm thinking about dumping all my stat points into pow to get the title and then using a stat reset to get my old stats back. But if I do that, will I still be able to keep the title, even if I don't fulfill the requirements anymore? Has anyone tried this before? Just want to make sure before I do anything stupid.
