I just went to Smelt my weapon to +100 from +90 and when I hit confirm it had succeeded and yet all that happened to it was the skill evolution works on shinning potential from rank 2 to rank 3 and it stayed +90, so yeah wtf? Gotta love wasting 11mil for a success that actually failed...

You forgot to enhance the weapon to +100 after smelting. You know, feed it weapons so it goes from +90 to +95, +100.
