That's the problem. If you carry people, they're just going to become lazy and dependent on stronger players to do the dungeons and missions for them. It'll also hurt them in the long run.

i hate to admit it, but you are 100% true on that point. But the problem that could potentially cause the leeches problems and etc, is the LOW exp ratio. When the fever went on, i was fired up as i could kill monsters all day long (even if it was a merely 100%) but now back at the usual JP 1:0.2 EN ratio ... i'm like ... fml

And in the first point, you're wrong. You can't play an MMO however you like it. There's metas, different communities, etc. You'll always be restricted by the limits of a build, etc, as well as the way in which you interact with different groups within a community.
Unless you happen to belong in one of the predefined types that do work, you won't get exactly what you want.
