Dungeons

Postby Azoth » 22 May 2014, 19:37

So, in the alpha I recall the dungeons being farely difficult. They were in no means too difficult, the later dungeons required back-tracking to earlier dungeons on a harder difficulty setting for the rare recipes. However, I was wondering if anyone know if the difficulty will remain the same, as I did not play the JP version. I would also like to know if exploits have been fixed, like the ability to use weapons with ranged energy type attacks while behind a wall to hit enemies stuck on the other side of the wall. Either way, I look forward to this game, I had a lot of fun in alpha, and I only see potential for the game to be more enjoyable. Sorry if there was poor sentence structure and bad word choice, I was tired while writing this and for some reason had a very hard time explainging everything XD

Most of the exploits from the Alpha should be fixed. Depending on what version of Onigiri they are using for this beta some might still be present. The difficulty of the dungeons was changed in the Japanese version. Hmm I think they had changed the being able to use weapon abilities through walls in the full release at some point, but considering I haven't played it in awhile im not to positive on it.

The real question is if they fixed how people could jump through walls and even skip through a dungeon by doing so. While I did greatly enjoy doing that (when it didn't get me lost) I think its safe to assume that were not supposed to be doing that. :)

its not like i used this gitch to begin with. Monster sometime stuck inside the wall when we push them back into the wall and its a pain when we have to kill all monster to open the gate. Even though mob is shown on map still can`t kill it becos of this gitch. al so when we walk through wall in some dgn it will force us out of map and back to begin of the dgn

Thats good to hear, in alpha I remember that a few of the people that made it to Kyoto got there because of the glitch.
