I suspect that the update was mistranslated, so, going by the in-game description, 50,000 points are exchangeable per week. On Monday, this gets reset so you can save up another 50,000 (but you don't lose any points you have). OC bought points are not limited except by the total cap. This also makes more sense since there's no apparent distinction between OC bought points and exchanged points.

Yeah, that sounds right. So you have to save up over two weeks to get Kijimuna Maiden (well, technically just two days: Sunday and Monday, assuming you can amass 50k per day. Aidama would be good for that I guess). Getting the Kijimuna Princess would be harder, since you would have to keep waiting for the resets.

I've also noticed it's more point-efficient to buy the +10 and +30 dura tickets. +30 is 300 points, whereas +50 is 2,500 points, which seems weird. Where'd that extra 2k come into it? +300 is 15k points, but you can do the same job with 10 +30 tickets, at 20% of the cost. Methinks C$ screwed up somewhere. When selling things, usually the bigger product costs less per unit than say: 2 of the previous size. If you go into any shop (at least, any sane shop) you'll see that 4 pints of milk costs less than buying 2x 2 pint cartons, as an example. For some reason C$ didn't keep that system going here, and made it cheaper to buy the smaller tickets that the bigguns. That's not how you get people to part with their money. I work in retail so I know this trick.

Yeah, that's true. Just look at Yoshitsune, or as many people refer to her: YoSHITsune. Crappy mag drops are another example, and I don't even want to start everyone off on RNG. That seems like quite a sore subject.

I had leftover points from last week still there. So it's confirmed now that the above update statement is incorrect. Points do not get wiped out every week.
