I enjoy a good challenge that keeps me coming back to the game, especially one as simple as Onigiri. I'm not surprised people get stuck at Tiamat though, being so under-leveled. I had to crank out 5 revives just to solo and beat the thing at lv9 when it pretty much 2 hits anyone. The biggest issue should be stabilizing the servers so we get less lag. I see people fighting mobs and glitching around all the time with a clean running 3mb net, and a hefty gaming rig (GTX 770 etc.)

Your way of thinking is dumb. People that actually like grinding at early levels with close to no returns are a VAST majority . By returns i mean weapons, skills and stat points. If there are no returns even at the early stages what do you think it will be like later on :)?

Dumb? No, it's just personal preference. But, of course you love to demean others, don't you? Let's stop there with that.

Whoever said I was grinding? :) I'm using other means, actually. I actually have yet to talk with others who have reached near-end game, but I will decide on staying with or just playing until I hit end game. That's up to me. You know, like the choice everyone else has, whether it's dumb to you or not. It's a f2p, so I never expected much. But, I do enjoy the satisfaction of finally reaching that later level and being able to equip the weapon I just farmed. Again, that's IMO - In my opinion. I'll probably go away once I max out at this rate~

i'd really like to see you reach the point where you can call youreself "maxed out"... since i want to get there too. I just want to able to get something every level or so if getting even one of those levels requires me to play for half an hour to an hour. And im pretty sure you would enjoy the game much more if this was the case. Pretty sure if the leveling experience will be enjoyable more people will stay after they get "maxed out".

Don't worry, there'll be at least a solid worth of 105 levels of masochistic pain for those of us who do stay for this low exp rate. Dungeon crawling, here we come~

I did edit my post just a few minutes ago, but you were probably writing a storm there. I'm sure a large number of players (most of whom are just teens and what not) won't feel the game easy enough to stay just like you pointed out there. Nothing's impossible though, just that everyone will have a much harder time is all~ And those of us few masochist gamers left will try to make our way to an empty ghost town of an end-game.

I've played MMORPGs for more than 10 years already, and GOD. The EXP rate in CBT is dayuum slow. Anyone noticed that after leaving first town (at around level 5 or 6), the next area gives you a map with level 12 mobs? Main quest is also a tad stupid. You're a level 6 person with three level 5-6 party members, doing a level 12 dungeon at Normal, and the boss one hits you.

I'm done for CBT, I guess.

I've gotta agree with you. The exp rates are REALLY REALLY low in CBT. I think that they want us to party up for dungeons rather than solo them.

probably wont see anything from a GM/Dev until they tell us CBT is over.

they give us terrible exp rates for cbt which were normal exp rates in the alpha, a forum that is missing crucial sections, a forum that doesnt work correctly.

really dissapointed in the staff with this

Except by doing so, the monsters increase in level, becoming more difficult, and a lot more spawn. Partying up tends to make dungeons way harder than solo. You might be able to get away with 1 person and the difficulty not rising enough but they shouldn't expect people to have one buddy to constantly play with them nor to grind this heavily just to progress. One thing I like about this game is that it's an actual RPG, not a raid-fest. However, after Tiamat, the game just outpaces the progression WAY too fast. It's insane that even with my two days of grinding, I'm still only level 18 and at a level 30 dungeon...
