Warning: Wall of text, lots of typos and i dont care.

When the devs made the healer class they must have hated it cause its so f%¤king horrible made but even tho they hated it so much that they wanted to delete it so did they still have it for the sake of the players that want to play support.

You may wonder, how bad is it?
That my friend is very easy to find out, just go to all the town and see for yourself.

These "Healer" does NOT count as a real Healer:
1. Players that only spam sanctuary which only heals 10 HP
2. Only spam 5-10MP regen and never use a single heal.
3. Only heals 50-400 HP
4. Players that only heals 1-10 times during a instance.
5. Players that only heals/buff/support 1-2 of the group.
6. Players that only has below 70% MND

Cut these people out and you will find out that there are actually only 5-10 players that are real HEALER, you know people that act like they are playing healers in World of Warcraft that buff every player and spam 1000 healing and 25 MP regen.
Those healer that instantly heals a member when he gets hit.
These are the REAL HEALERS.

Now why are they as rare as an artifact item?


1. TARGETING

If you have played healer or tried cause you gave you instantly as you noticed how f%&king horrible the targeting is in this game.
How does it work?
It only targets the player closest to you + And a bit of power of RNG.
So yeah if you want to be a real healer you have to play dirty and run up to the melee and pull up your staff and slap them on their ass with them.
Cause if you have 4 ppl infront of you in a room so will you only heal the one closest to you, if you want to heal the spear class so must you run in towards the center of the room so you can target him.
Unless you have a group with 4 melee that is standing on each other so they can AoE the whole room at once, then you are f%&kt.

"Then use TAB Targeting"
It ONLY switch between 2 targets that is closest to you and NOT THE WHOLE GROUP.


2. Can't use buff on yourself.

Great for you healers, you can buff your member with movement speed buff so the tank/dps can run away from your healing..
This happens so many fucking times i'm actually about to slam my head on my wall.


3. Item Level has no effect

What?!?
Yup..

It doesn't matter what type of item you uses as healer; rarity, grade, attack or level.
It has 0 EFFECTS FOR HEALERS.

I'm lvl 44 and i'm using still using a healing staff from my FIRST INSTANCE, which i have repaired over 5000 or something now so it has 643 Dura left.

So why should healer bother using staff over lvl 10 if they don't do ANYTHING for the healer.
Enchanthing and smelting and etc costs nothing on a lvl 10 weapon, while a lvl 50 so will it costs millions to pimp it to max.
And if it breaks when smelting so can i easily replace it when i can just clear a instance in 15 seconds instead of lfg for minutes and then clear a instance that takes 8min to clear.

Staff doesn't effect anything for us, no healing increased, no duration increased, NOTHING.




4. UI

You must be damn good a remembering which character model and who they belong to, cause in this game you cant see the HP/SP on the players and the names only show up at 10m away when you can heal members up to 40m away.
So once again you are forcing healers to hug their members just so they can see which players that needs healing/mp/support
So pray that you will never join a group with all 4 of them are wearing the exact same models.


5. Buff Icons

Fix it, its dumbest thing i've ever seen, it gives no info and it doesn't tel me which buff is on them and its f%&king tiny i'm having problem seeing it, why the f%&k is it only 2 pixels large?!?!?
And i bet 99% of the players have never seen it.

1.It's quite true that your targetting only targe 2 object around 45 degrees infront of you or nearest object.but you still can get around this.
3. while item level doesn't do a goddamn thing doesn''t mean you not grinding for staff,better skill are found on better staff,better durability and better bonus means better performance
well it's not like i use staff,since they are party dependent,but well staff and wand is need to be fixed
i am neutral here okay

I have never used more then 700 Dura on my single staff and i've used the same staff since i've looted it from my first instance.
So no.. Dura are still pointless and why should i bother wasting millions of gold when i can just do it for free.

FYI you can extract healing abilites from staffs and add them to your low lvl staff.
And also you have 4 weapons to add all the abilites you need.

WAIT YOU MEAN THERE ARE ACTUAL BUFF ICONS IG?!

The tab thing could probably be a pretty simple fix too, when equipping a staff and pressing tab it could just rotate through the party member list every time the button is pressed :x

@ 3.

Attack, affinity and skill force all matter for healers.

A LOT

I couldn't stand reading beyond that as, I feel that you've failed to play healers until they've actually scaled into the game based off this point alone, but here are a few things to note.

Strike boost scales off of YOUR attack.
Invigorate/heals do significantly more when you break certain thresholds as well.

The game doesn't give much feedback to the healer... guessing the timing for things is not acceptable; the status screen only sometimes indicates how long a buff will continue and thats just plain awkward to open in combat.

On the topic of bad healers; there has to be a way to kick people from a party (If there is I haven't found it) it's pretty ridiculous when someone can leech half the dungeon. Maybe make healers get exp for healing people that kill an enemy so they are forced to put effort in? because exp for them is pretty gimped in parties. I guess making the party private might be the only way right now.

The weapon isn't as gimped as you made it out to be (like Supreme said) but there is some real quality of life issues.

Yup and no im not joking, with the pixel size,it is really 2 pixels large, it bottom right corner on your party member's avatar.

funny thing i found on santuary today that i could heal higher than 10 using anything but staff... i could heal for 30 by swapping my staff with my spear after cast the santuary (lol?)

a mage fried even could heal santuary by swapping staff to her main weapon

conclusion : healer mechanism is messed up , yes.

if you need extract..means you still need to find the staff and grind the skill level tho..since momo's evo skill is tricky
well yeah they need to make the healing skill scales off with the attack or something like that which if they do you can't use low level staff anymore.but i think wand situation is abit..worse than staff though well that's probably only me though at least wand's attack is ranged,unlike the super short staff range..

well the buff/debuff icon should showed in the party's hp/sp with right size icon i agree,if possible with the time,but that's asking abit too much
