Kagehide+60 usually sell around 40+oc

Sephiroth wrote:I'd like to know so that I don't overpay if I choose to buy one rather than farm one.

Umm... most players here are human. Some of them don't want to let go of Kagehide+60, tht's why sometimes u need to overpay them(Of course, don't be trick about their price = mostly sold around 46oc, there's someone who whispered me after i put buying Kagehide post for 71oc at the Market post-He said he will sold his Kagehide+60 for 100oc and no discount allowed-).

Of course, you might be able to imagine my reaction =.=;;
Because 71oc is already OVERPAY.(Juz so u know)
Good luck though, there's always a solution for any problems. Not all problems though... :?

Here's some tips:
(Kagehide is red rare item not gold, becareful not to NPCed em = make sure you Favourited it and put in storage)
You might find Kagehide+60 being sell by some players at Kaga & Echigo (alr saw few of em at Echigo)= around 40-50oc
Make sure you check both ch1 & ch2 everyday.(Like i said, they are human = people are busy with their own life) o-o;;

Thanks for the information. I realize people are human, however, and that they want appropriate compensation for their hard work- I only added the "so I don't overpay" notation because I was concerned that I would see one in someones shop and, not knowing the average price I'd end up deciding to pay 70 OC or some price like that and find out later that I could have only payed 40 OC if I'd waited.

I'm not actively searching to buy one so I really don't plan on pursuing anybody for their kagehide. I'd honestly rather hunt for one myself first so that I actually feel like I earned the title. But thank you for the detailed market information- I already saw a few at Kage for various prices which is why I wanted to make certain in case I do decide to actually buy one.

Quite simple.
1) Know the min oc price of a kagahide
2) then add the kagahide price together with the price of number of items used for smithing in order to reach 60+
3) Viola, you got your answer.

It turns out the actual market price is lower than your instructions made it seem. I know that method- however it's not a very good way to judge the realistic average market price because ultimately people will sell lower in a competitive atmosphere.

In any case, thank you for your assistance.

My apologies if anyone somehow found my question rude, it was only an attempt to inform myself.

Tho this point is likely true for other MMOs, but for Onigiri, i doubt you can measure the price thru such way (like effort measuring)... it's not as simple as total Kagehide used up x 5 = total OC..

Few reasons why
- Min price is not decided by player, but by the game itself.
- The 30% tax, which likely is the reason why ppl overprice their stuffs
- Ryou and OC are 2 separate trading currency.
- No actual conversion ratio from ryou to OC and vice versa
- Its a one way market (either min or overprice) with no competition at all (except for weapons and magas)
- OC comes from your real life money! Ppl tend to forget this all the time..
- Ryou is so easy to get.. and i mean real easy..

To be honest, of all the MMOs i played before, this is the first time i've seen an MMO with weird market style... in game currency is used for dealing with NPCs only, and game coins (or better RMT) used for dealing among players only..

You guys should watch out when it comes to dealing with OC, unless if you have a mean to get OC without spending your pocket money.. if not, just farm the materials and craft/enhance it.. to me, using RMT to get a +60 Kagehide just for title sake is just not worth it.

Recipe drops from Kyoukotsu's Lair or Nishidera, on Hell. Requires a Ranmagiri Sword +40, 1 Metal Gear and 65 Charcoal. No known drop locations. Alternatively, Miroku sells it in his Bargains while he is Lv16 to 18, i.e. Lv4 Negotiation.

Gettin OC is more like pure chance & luck in this game.
Don't waste too much OC though...I have no rights to talk like tht though cuz I always use OC at the Market Forum & use it to get new costume :?

Owh if by any chance any of you guyz saw (Still Ongoing) at the Market Forum.
It means it's my post. Look at my forum name though, don't mistake it for someone else if they also make the post same as mine.(Closed/Bought) is also my post = can look what I previously buyed and from who i buyed it.

I usually put HINT on how to get the item i want as well.
(I sometime Overpay people on purpose, it's a good chance to get some OC as well...

Question about staves~

Does the level/attack power of a staff affect healing skills? For example, would a level 17 staff with Heal V, Invig V, Cure V heal less than a lvl 70 staff with Heal V, Invig V, Cure V, assuming the skills are all the same level?

Thanks~

Yep it does affect them based on the Attack of the staves = Heal & Invig also affected
You probably alr know this:-
Rank V skill requires you to have 50 Mind to be effective.

Buffs does not affected with the attack of the staves, any lvl of staves is fine = Rapid Storm, Idaten Grace, etc...
