Giant Mukade. They're in sakurajima depths, but the next place you can find them is in seki dungeons.
Btw, found this on the wiki.

I thought something may have been a glitch, but does energy ball V even exist? Smelting evo isn't evolving my last IV skill on a staff :/

As Firon mentioned..
- Sakurajima Depths but very less, need multiple runs to get one.
- Some Seki dungeons but i don't think you want to farm there. Better get the main quests there done and move on to the next map.
- Some Kaga dungeons.. Elder forest is one of the best to get it because the Giant Mukade is the first you gonna see on your right hand side. Just kill the target and leave the dungeon, then rinse and repeat until you get what you want.

If you're looking for one to make the Mushiro maga, then best option would be thru Sakurajima Depths, or from dissolving uncraftable magatama. At Seki level, Mushiro is likely obsolete and replacable.

If you can wait until you can do Hermit Crab Grotto at Hokurikudo line 4. There are plenty of Giant Mukade at this dungeon. Enough to farm atleast 2-3 Centipede Poison per centipedes killed. Although other suggestions before this will help, but since this is a rare drop, you can take my suggestion into account too, if you like :)

In my opnion, the way to build any character is

  1. Build Main Stat until max Affinity
  2. Add enough Dex for the maximum amount of Critical Force and Cooldown Reduction you can get from Dex (I'm fairly certain the cap is reached at 100 Dex for Critical Force, but cannot confirm it. Cooldown Reduction from Dex is capped at 15 at 100). If your Main Stat is Dex, ignore this step
  3. Decide whether to add Mnd to be able to use staves. If yes, get either 40 for Rapid Storm, 6x for Invigorate VI, or 7x for Cure VII
  4. Decide whether to add Vit for additional leeway when using Chian. If your Main Stat is Vit, ignore this step
  5. Add Dex and Wis depending on which one is more effiicent for Crit. Each point in Dex adds 1/12 Crit and each point in Wis adds 1/24 Crit. The game rounds down.
  6. Pow is pretty worthless if you're not using Pow weapons.

Of course, by "Main Stat" I mean the stat your weapon gains affinity from, and not the primary stat your type provides. If that wasn't clear.

great! i just want to know something: if affinity for bow (primary weapon) is currently maxed and there are stat points unallocated, is it still efficient to add more DEX to max TwinSword affinity(secondary weapon) as well OR just allocate the remaining and future stat points to another stats, i.e. MND etc.?

If you plan to solo a lot, it's wise to spend point to MIND, as you will need minimum MND requirement to rapid storm yourself (speed buff).

MIND also adds magic defense and defense/SP recov a bit.

Do you actually use twin swords? If so, then yes.

Elsewise, I would allocate my stats elsewhere, as you likely already have 100 dex, which maxes out your free critical force and cooldown bonuses.

Like Lynneth stated, you will want mind to sustain yourself. However, its not necessary, and you may build based on how you want to play.

Just in case:
This all applies if you have maximum affinity without affinity magatama, presumably from a title. You'll need the magatama slots that are currently occupied by affinity magatama later if not.
