What is the best 2 swords out there? (I am currently lv.110, but I want what I can get for lv.110 then one for lv.115)

And how does Sword Ougi, Verdant Storm compare to Thunder Beast?

I got 2 end of days filled with dual thunder beast VI and wondering if making a 3rd sword with dual thunder beast or having at least one verdant storm + thunder beast is worth it?

The Highest lvl swords out with current cap are End Of Days Cross And Severance Weapons (lvl 108). From What I see Verdant Storm does more dmg if you hit only 1 enemy, and if you hit more mobs less dmg per mob. In oushuu Thunder Beast is not very good so if you were to make severance weapon(Severance Sword holy element) and do double tsb. But when and if latter content update would be better to make another cross and put 2 tsb for now(since cross affinity boost).

I am trying to do Oushuu but never before has my dual thunder beast EOD feel so weak lol. Especially the boss.

I don't think status resets are on either of the two lists, but I'm too lazy to double check.

I don't think you'll be able to rely on events for a stat reset since it's one of the more expensive things in the nyankoropon and it also isn't a relevant reward for the majority of the player base.

I've wasted between 1 and 2 mil you thanks to yoshitsune's smelting because I spent extra ryou on upgrading the rank of normal skills to no effect. I tried enhancing my skills from rank 5 to 6 with all 3 skills on rank 5. Not one of them reached rank 6 after smelting successfully. Why is that?

When hovering my mouse over the skill evolve option, I see that she can upgrade skill rank except for rank VI and above or ougis.

It therefore means she should be able to upgrade rank V, unless the statement should read "Upgrade skill rank except when upgraded TO rank VI"?

I'm not sure what it says now but I remember it used to be incorrect. It should state that it can only evolve skills up to V or whatever the skill level cap is.

I was trying to get energy ball up to V way back on a +80, then +90 staff, failed smelts included OTL

Few questions:
1. Does anyone know if drop gain affects magatama drop rates?
I just did Echigo Estate Hell mode (solo) for an hour, ~12 runs with



hunting for a certain magatama which will make me a hypocrite in a few ways

and got:
lag
slow runs because of looking for magatama
59 100,000 ryou chests
and..
no magatama

so, is it not affected or was I just extremely unlucky?

2. Does anyone know if Miroku's bargain refresh time depends on his level or something else? Essentially, I want to know if it's worth levelling Miroku on an alt while keeping the same negotiation level.

Edit: Nvm about question 1. I'm willing to bet that it doesn't given that there's no substantial increase in magatama drops both over the 660% drop rate and the 430% I've had this fever, per youkai. So many wasted login boosts and fevers...

Regarding Skill Evolution on Smelting: Last I checked she only evolves to Rank V (I believe the enhancement is even called Skill Evolution V). That does not include Ougi. Unless this was changed without any announcement within the last 5-10 minutes, because I was just smelting with Yoshitsune.

Regarding Magatama drop rates: Difficult to say. I *have* found more Magatama than usual lately, but it's possible that I was just lucky. I don't know if Magatama are excluded from the drop rate boost, but I guess if you're looking for an especially rare Magatama, then even drop boosts aren't going to make it *that* much more likely to appear. I mean, if the standard drop rate is 0.01%, then a 500% boost isn't going to guarantee that you'll find something even on a few runs. My advice: Keep slugging away. Perseverance pays off, it just takes patience and persistence.

Only one is technically viable, and I only have one sword with a Skill of Rank VI or higher (Rank VII). The only TS SF mags I have at the moment are Rank 8+ and Rank 10+, so a complete waste of Chakra.

Afaik, Kishinden full pt drops TS skill force ranks 3,4,5 (I've gotten ranks 3 and 5 there myself and 4 is within the level range).

If it was just one magatama, then I'd agree, but keeping in mind that dungeons typically drop 15+ different types of magatama, it seems extremely unlikely that drop gain has an effect on magatama drop rates.

Using 0.01%, 0 drop gain
=(1-0.0001)^1000
=~90% chance of not getting

For 15 magatama
=~20% chance of not getting

I guess the actual rate is less than 0.01%

Using the 0.01% and +500% drop gain
Chance of not getting a magatama in an hour (assuming 1000 kills, it's probably more than this since that's the approximate rate for RoR infinite farming -Not Echigo Estate).
=(1-0.0006)^1000
=~54% chance of not getting

for 15 magatama
=~0.01% chance of not getting magatama

I guess I can see why they would make it so that it's not affected -It'd make things too unfair for people who sit in front of Miroku catching bargains XD. Well, +the inventory would fill up with magatama really fast and magatama would lose value...

Idk about you, but I definitely do feel the drop rate increase.

This is a bit of an unfair comparison because Oushuu magatama drop rates are much higher than Kishinden, but I've gotten over 100 magatama drops over the past couple days from like... 50 runs or so? I would normally have like 20 ish without fever.

Wow, 2+ magatama per run on average. I haven't been in Oushuu for a while so can't really compare what I've gotten but just checking, is that including chest magatama and/or boss magatama?
Boss magatama, basis for saying so: field boss magatama drops during fever.
Chest magatama, basis: plover pit steal attack common belief.

I could just be completely wrong about the whole thing, though, since the effect probably would be less pronounced with even smaller rates as Helix said. This is just assuming that Youkai specific drops and chest specific drops are treated differently to youkai level-range specific drops.
