One quick question

How exactly does one fight against the tentouki thing in Marunouchi Sewer Pipe #5? I'm trying to clear Marunouchi Sewer Pipe #5 for my main quest (the other instances and bosses were soloed fairly easily) but this guy is kinda ridiculous @.@ Hellfire barely scratches him, same with frost glaive, fuujin/raijin and bright homing. Earth spike seems kinda effective but the fact that I have to stop in close range to cast it is kinda :x. Dark gate seems to be kinda effective as well but the guy's kinda fast so I'm having trouble hitting him with dark gate @.@

What skills would be most effective on this annoying boss?

I did try killing him with dark gate and then during the fight I realized why this guy's one of the bosses you have to kill to release Satan... Because by the time you kill him, you're so old that you already have half a foot in your grave...

Tentouki - Whoops I totally forgot about this dude and only noticed now that im editing in Elder. My subconscious must have been repressing my memories of this fight for the sake of my sanity. The fight itself is simple. Hit him with something, run back to the entrance to despawn and/or deaggro, and then repeat...a lot. This is so easy that I don't even need to bother mentioning his moves. What IS worth mentioning is god DAMN is this dude tanky. I didn't actually time how long it took me so I can't give an exact number but it probably took me somewhere between an hour and a half to two hours. The only danger here is you falling asleep at your keyboard. I sure as hell came close.

Damn this is still accurate. Well guess you need to spam anything quick while running then .

Amazing advice. Too bad I underestimated freaking tanky this guy was... Broke all 3 of my wands on him and the guy still had like 5% health left :/ And then I had to give up because my last 3 weapons were all staves with no offensive skills on them.

Fighting this guy is like bashing your head against a brick wall to see if the wall breaks first or if you collapse of blood loss first

It's an odd bug with that spell that if you don't take agro on the attack you don't take durability dmg so that allowed me to peel away his tankyness. Now he's easy because 215 Skill force and all that but god damm back then, he was long and dull XD. If you want me to give you a hand, lemme know.

That being said, I could always just grind out another 14 levels or so and so I can use the level 100+ wands (got like 20 of them in my inventory from daily weapon hunts). I mean, I'll probably have to fight satan after this as well so it'll probably be a good idea to wait until I stop using level 60 wands (even if it's a +100 one)

XD true on the weapon business, even I had a lvl 92 albatross before taking on edo but then again it wasn't until I got satan did I learn about skill force and how important it is, my mags were terrible. I bought up some oc and got 4 melon mags, my dmg went from about 10k per arrow to about 80k (depends on spell) silly really, cs should really explain what SF is and how important it is once you get max affinity.

Don't worry about time zones because tbh I'm used to playing with Americans on the west coast and that is massivly behind me because I have the advantaged of being on 0:00 GMT so I'm sure we can get some time together. Hell just add me and we will might run into each by chance, i'm usually on whenever I can really. EmberWolf is the name you are looking for, just be careful I do have alts and play on them so I might not be on all the time.

Well, 3 of my characters should be able to thrash Tentouki. Just spam Restriction Geki. My other characters, well that could be difficult.

Hahahaha oh man that's so accurate it hurts. God that fight was awful. With him being weak to dark you could try finding a wand with a decent level shadow ball or dark pillar. (In fact you should do this anyway as your going to want a good dark spell for a different boss not far ahead of where you are.) At the time I think I just brute forced it with bright homing which was...unpleasant to say the least. Let's just say that estimation of how long it took me was not an exaggeration.

It's also in your best interests to use the wiki a lot to target a bosses elemental weakness especially as your a wand user. That makes a really big difference between "hell" and "bearable" fights because your reaching the point where most bosses pretty much resist everything except their like 2 or 3 weaknesses. With the way most wand skills are 100% one element your damage takes a pretty massive cut if your hitting an enemy with something they resist. But on the bright side you get a massive bonus for hitting a weakness. You will save yourself a lot of trouble if you can manage to get a good spread of elements on your wands.

My set of wands technically has spells for all the elements. Though how useful the spells are is questionable @.@

Hellfire VII for fire
Bubble strike IV for rain
Earth Glaive VII for earth
Frost Glaive VII for ice
Fuujin/Raijin VI for wind/lightning
Bright Homing V for holy
Dark Gate V for dark

I hammered away at the guy with dark gate until my wand with 2.2k max durability wand broke (though I did use it a bit to clear the dungeon), and then used hellfire on my other wands until they broke as well. The boss still had like 5% health left after that @.@

Currently, I'm trying to level up to 100+ so I can use Inti Raimi. I'm hoping that with more attack, I might be able to beat the boss down with brute force ><

Though, the leveling isn't going that well since I have to go to onigashima to use up my energy via weapon hunt hells and daily searches and I'm too lazy to run through the sewers every time @.@
