Seriously, why do people support carriers if they don't get exp from it? Why do people even heal others anyway, if it's not for etiquette?
In any game, the role of support/healer is always viable, especially when a party is mostly consisted of people at the same level fighting a very strong boss, since each hit is a hard hit. Either everybody get the same exp, or if Cyberstep wants to make it "fair" by giving more to the ones who work hard, then do it really fair by buffing staff users too.
This is one of the most imbalance game I have ever seen. Staff user got fuck real hard.

C$ doesn't want to make it "fair" so that all the leecher and staff users/support will buy +xxx% EXP from them. And the carrier/attacker if died, they don't want the staff/support resurrect them, so C$ remove the 'Resurrection' spell in this 'localized game' and hope players will buy 'Soul Egg' from them... strategy fail :lol: :lol:

On another note, there'll be lots of secondary "staff users" for the sake of "getting easy EXP/Ryou bandwagon or Rapid Storm Buff". Because the pure/true support got fucked real hard. :lol:
Usually, they went to 2nd secondary stats for Staff, MND, only to get 'Rapid Storm' buff or only for the sake of getting carried. That's it and that's all.
And with limited arsenal of skills, it's just slow leveling if you solo using staffs.. try it and you know what I mean. :lol: :mrgreen:

if CS can implement a expel option in the party option then all this leech thing will be gone, if you afk or dont help the way you should be you get kicked simple and easy. if the leader of the party afk or not help then the members can leave (already implemented). this game lacks alot of basic features of a typical mmorpg honestly.

Issue is, that only works if the party leader feels like kicking the leechers. But as things stand, there's no need for more than 1 carry or support in a party but you can only get max exp if you have 5 people in a party so it's only logical to fill your party up with 3 other people who don't need to do anything. The only real way to fix things would be to give us the JP version with the un-nerfed mobs and the normal exp rates. Sure, it won't STOP leeching but it'll stem it to the point where there's just not enough carries to go around and people eventually HAVE TO start normal parties xD. Oh and carries will probably start selling their services at that point also making it even less accessible for people.

1)Wow I'm not the only one that does that and 2) If your support and surprised by the fact that u aren't getting the same amount of xp as tanks then change your class or redistribute your stat points in order to get lucky boxes, more xp and ryou. The whole point of this game is to kill monsters not support other players

Yeah, I agree and partially support your opinion. On the other hand, you will find less pure support player here, and mostly will be only partial support (not full support), and this game is one of the game that doesn't really have any 'support class'. Even spear has support skill like intimidate and useless taunt.

With this game mechanics, the whole point of this game is really to kill monsters. But can you do it effectively and efficiently without support from other players? You will need lots of potions, a little bit delayed attack, and forced to drink pots if you don't have any support if you want to clear dungeon at the fastest rate as possible.

It is much better and promote a good team playing when each of the teammates can support each other, someone mobbing and tanking, someone DPS-ing and someone healing and curing (that's traditional MMORPG) anyway. But in this game, you will NOT see such mechanic, since it's not designed that way. Most of the time would be, one person mobs all the crits, and attacking those mobs, and someone do the support, and the rest would just afk/leeching. Or, two or three help supporting (with not really helping either).

The EXP system is weird and obsolete, if you don't kill the monster, you would get only 1/3 of the EXP and no lucky boxes. And what does it use if you work, but you get only 1/3 of the reward promised by the employer?
You invest the same time, the same effort but less reward? I guess it's better become leecher or at most partial support, at least help a little bit.

Fun playing : Spear, Sword, Twin Sword and Bows.
Mediocre fun playing : Axe, Odachis, and Wands.
Not fun playing : Staffs.
