I had just purchased 100 oc worth of points in the point daruma and I have only spent about less than a half of the points I had received. Will all my points just go to waste or will I get some sort of refund after this event closes?

There will be no compensation, since your point will still stay around. The Daruma Point event only increases the number of points you buy per 1 OC and the maximum number of points Point Daruma can keep for you.
