0.o guessing he used to give you a quest previously to steal a fundoshi or something? B/c one of the bosses or something dropped a "rare" material -- a Fundoshi >.>

he asked for a fundoshi, in which we had to find an item from the ittamomen. The item was pretty rare and only very few (if any) players during alpha managed to find it.

*Gets quest to find Fundoshi when being lv 2. Suddenly, at lv 23, the fundoshi dropped when randomly passing by and killing those paperguys, finally quest done :'x*

Oh god. What a classy quest. I had forgotten about it till the NPC mentioned it XD

Even in JP, I just finished that quest because Miroku sold it during his rare item resets, lol.

There's a quest that allows you to turn 2 fine clothes into a New Fundoshi now though, through the bookseller.

I was somewhat worried that I somehow skipped that quest this time around. They just put that line in there to reference it? Hah

Yup, got it.
For a while back there I thought I need to kill thousands of Ittamomen for that Fundoshi lol
