How many characters can you have per account?

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot or if it's been asked before. "Help" seemed to be for bugs and glitches and the search box doesn't want to work for me.

Simple question, just wondering how many characters I can have per account, since I cant seem to create more than three, and am wondering if I'll be able to make more after beta.

It's three, but you can always just delete.
