As you can guess, I have a few questions regarding Onigiri Online.
I've written a review for the game that you can find here, but I still feel like it lacks some info that I couldn't find so far.

First of all, does the game have any PVP feature at the moment? If the answer is no, was there any in the Japanese version? I'm currently at level 14, and thus far the only way I can interact with other players is by adding them, whispering, or inviting them to a party.

Secondly, am I doing something wrong, or are recipes not currently working? The first one I received (for the partner quest) worked fine, but I don't seem to be able to submit those I have acquired through drops.

Finally, is the skill evolution through Momotarou currently working? I have a few wand skills maxed out, but I don't seem to be able to upgrade.

1. skill evolution only work for +40 enchanment weapons.
2. some recipe need hi level Affection partner to be accepted.
3. all tipe of skill need level up, you can see it at your skill list. ( there is some sort of skill meter that you mastered or not ).
4, need to gather enough materials to make weapons, items, ext ext ext.




to the poin :
1. the most importand thing in this game is finding + recruit new partners + grow it up and enjoy the storyline.
2. enchant your weapon to + 40 with smelting.
3. enchanment fells like no limit you can reach + 50 but need skill evolution first to do it, this the most fun part in this game. not like other MMO RPG that make you to think new weapon when you already reach bigger level.
4. party with people for better exp and weapon drops.

ABOUT PVP ! :
This is beta test game, Gm and CS still working many thing to do like making maps, new story line, fixing random bugs and other stuff.

i think they will add PVP later, just wait and see.

In the Japanese version of the game they have added Duels, but that is as far as pvp goes in it for now. There are different type of recipes not just weapon recipes. There are ones for Magatamas and Drinks. As far as I know, skill evolution is random for which skills can be evolved.

^ thats right some skill can't evolved or maxed at level III.

there only few skill can go to level IV, hard to explain but i really hope there is a skill level list guide or sort of it for this. ( or maybe bacause this is beta, CS make some skill cannot go to level IV because bugged ? )

note :
growing partners will giving you new game features. don't be lazy as fuck or ignore it. always always always giving present & check their Affection meters.

keep this in your mind getting new skill that mean you need to rank it up, because if you mastered the skill that mean the damages will be double.

On another note, is it normal for the boss in the Room of Rites to kill me in one hit?

Yeah, assuming you are taking an attack straight to the face you should die unless your at or around his lvl with some really decent magic defense/health.
