I need help with how to solo Kishinden Hell boss.

So, I tried to solo Kishinden hell mode boss "Chief Duruma" with "Twin Swords"-user.

The problem is: the target-seeking bombs: how do you deal with them? Whenever I try running away from them, they always catch me (mind you, that I am specifically talking about "hell mode" and not easier difficulties). Is the only option to just stand still blocking them and pray that you got enough magic resist and fire resist to survive until he switches to another skill?

Just blocking them isnt hte only option, it's also the best, since you can soak the damage to be less tha half your HP bar.

You could also choose to kite the hell out of it and RUN OUT OF THE ROOM when he does the massive bombspamming (since there will be both, targetitng bombs and non targetting).

Before you take down his shield, consider running a lot before attacking. Just run in circles and kill the darumas as they're in your way

I usually just stand in his face or directly under him to bait out his smoke-breath (easy to dodge) or his slam (block). As far as the firebombing, your best bet is to run out of the room and then block the homing ones. Standing in the room at a low level is bound to just end in death.

He is kinda tough even when your at the dungeons level he hits pretty hard. Nearly died 3 times fighting him on Hell Mode at lvl 21.

Have you tried to bring an extra spear weapon, just for the purpose of blocking the homing fireballs?

EDIT: And oh yeah, once the battle has begun, if you attempt leave the main "boss room" and stay on the starting corridor, he'll spam those homing fireballs almost non-stop.
