Buy and sell price

Now I know it is easy to get the weapons from anywere but the price to buy them so at least 10X more then the selling price and the selling price for unidentified weapons is 10X less then the price to identify them. I know that selling price should be low but in this game it is ridiculous to sell the weapon costing at least 200,000 gold for 200 gold is not worth it. I just want to know what you guys think about this.

Mirokou follows the #1 rule for any merchant, "Buy low, sell high." But with all seriousness, if Mirokou bought your weapons for more than what you paid to identify them then it could cause inflation, heck people already get rich easily, but upping the price on sold weapons would add needless/unnecessary inflation, which could cause problems later down the road if Onigiri were to become economy based. That's what I think anyways.

I understand why the selling price is so low.
I understand that the crafting price is relatively reasonable based on how much money you make from playing the game.
But I don't understand why a weapon that takes over 100k to commission crafting sells for under 1k. They could have weapons that can only be crafted sell for a 10th of the price it takes to craft them. And I don't think we would see inflation from that. You probably could even have them sell for 50% the commission price without any real inflation.
Another thing I don't get is why durability, enchant level, and if the weapon has been smelted or not doesn't effect the sell price.

Answer is simply~ Later on you can purchase a stall with onigiri coins which allows you to sell to other players~ BAM we have an economy... and im sure they will sell these weapons for a lot since...hey they paid cash to be able to do this ~

Actually, the wiki group has been playing on JP Onigiri recently and you are able to sell up to 3 items at once for free. There's a tax of 30% however, so if you sold an item for say... 10 OC you actually only receive 7 OC. You can pay for more slots but it doesn't remove the tax. Not sure if it's going to be the exact same in EN.

Hmm, thinking about it once they implement the player shop thing. Players could use it to basically sell Ryou if items were actually worth something. And maybe they don't want that to be able to happen. So they made it so items sell for practically nothing to NPCs.

The only reason the sell price of items to npc's is so low is because they want us to play there game longer.
From what I have seen the only use for money is:
Pay for Identification
Pay for Repairs
Pay for Smelting
Pay for Booze
Pay for Crafting
Pay for Enhancement
Pay for Miscellaneous items from Miroku

Since Player to Player trading is done with OC only as far as I know. There is no point in shafting us on the cash we make from selling to Miroku.

Probably because you can just loot money when killing enemies?
I don't really see this as a big deal though :D

Smelting weapons will get very expensive.

This isn't Diablo 2. They're simply trying to keep Ryou(in-game currency)valuable.

Besides, without a doubt: this is a grinding/farming game.
