Hello!
My name's Marshelline (also my ING) and I'm .. quite new to the game. I am enjoying onigiri quite a bit, it's a fun game :3. However, seeing how these are just early stages of the game there's a lot of things lacking and I've read a lot of things such as "P2W" (I don't think it is, though, play Microvolts if you wanna know what really P2W is lol ..) etc. And one of the things the game misses, if it is supposed to have it later on that is, are mounts. Since this is kind of old japan-mythology etc. I'm assuming if we got mounts they'd be horses -but seeing all the 'magic' around us, magical creatures would be possible as well- and such. Do you think there will be horses? And if so, will they be cash, free or from quests? (I apologize if this post is weird or anything, but I wasn't sure how to form question I wanted to ask > n <)

chance of mounts implemented is higher than firearms being a weapon, probably after the dev run out of idea for costumes or cash shop item (laugh)
probbaly you got a really basic from story Q,a really rare from boss or raid (if there are raid later),and OP mounts from cash shop/gacha

Hopefully some will be free to get, my character looks fit but runs slower than a fat woman when there's sales in the shop =3= I was wondering, though, because there's game similiar to onigiri (in the historical thing, at least) Age of Wulin/Age Of Wushu (name depends on region) and you get horse for free there, he's slow and ugly but you get him for free, of course there are better horses but you gotta pay :T thanks for the answer though ^^. I hope they add some old horsie for free, I'll love him even if he's not pretty cash horse <3

I doubt mounts will be added.. it's not open world and the maps just aren't big enough. Plus there are transport crystals for free.

Fair enough, the maps aren't THAT big (Dragon Nest has a similiar system where you can go to area with portals to dungeons and you can go there alone or with party, but in that game mounts are allowed in cities only -the cities not being so big) but who knows what they'll add later on.

The beginning areas sure they might not be big, but as far as I have noticed Kyoto and the next area are getting to the "Big" part. Kyoto has a lot of stairs to travel up to, The battlefield is just... It's big. This is also why some people are talking about Moon King since it ups your movement speed making the traveling more bearable in those areas.
So to say that Mounts won't be around since the areas are small can be considered as "Invalid". There is also the fields you have to run around in. Traveling from town to town might be quick but what about traveling in that area it's not like the there are portals that teleport you from one end of the map to the other.

To be honest, there are games with smaller areas that have mounts, tons of mounts, so the size of the games map doesn't really matter. For example. Mabinogi's world map is not exactly huge, I'd say that each individual area is comparable in size to this game because like Onigiri, it isn't a true open world MMO. You are constrained to certain paths and towns on the map, with very limited "open world" areas to explore, yet they have more mounts than you could ever want x.x; Vanity pets as well. So yes. Map size is not a judge of whether or not there will be mounts in a game. It's all up to the developers and what they want. It would be nice to see some mounts but then again, annoying if the mounts are bound to a single character on an account and you have to re-buy them for each character. (Unlike Mabinogi where you can summon your mounts on all characters because the mounts take up a character slot)

yes I totally agree we need mounts +1
Kyoto and Sekigahara maps are so huge that I use up more time running to repair than doing the dungeons themselves.

I personally hate mounts. Just let us run faster.

Agreed with mention about mabinogi, the game has different areas that are not always so big but you still have plenty of mounts to choose from such as horses, birds, tigers, pegasai etc. Running around here, annoys me quite a bit :T it takes forever and with a mount (or some speed boost? Perhaps, I dunno) it would be much more bearable, besides. This game focuses on Japanese mythology they have so many possibilities for mounts (*cough*whichtheycouldgetmoneyoutof*cough*) I don't see why not. Hopefully if they decide to add something like this it won't be cash only because then I can wave goodbye to a faster travelling :c
