stat reset question

I used it and saw that I can change my character type, but I canceled it becouse i was wondering if it would allow me to redistribute my points freely without forcing it, as in, can I cancel the stat redistribution and return to my initial stats.

so more simply, is there a 'confirm/cancel' option on the stat redistrubution or is it after I choose my type, all my points are reset
