[Patch Note 2014/08/05]

Today, we've released the following patch:

- Bug in which areas could be crashed by spamming word filters (example c$ c$ c$...), causing a gigantic string to be generated, has been fixed.
- Bug in which the cursor would disappear after opening treasure chests or getting achievements has been fixed.
- Bug in which the target cursor would should up during some cutscenes has been fixed.
- Bug in which Lucky Box type items received as Presents or as Quest Rewards didn't show up on the Lucky Box panel in the corner of the screen until scene change has been fixed.

Note: To all players who use UltimateGameCard(UGC), due to the fact that they have been undergoing a change as of July 31st, 2014 we are temporarily no longer accepting UGC as a payment method. Once the system is ready again, we will re-open it as a payment method. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Haven't experienced any issues with the patch so far but, out of curiosity wondering if any of you have?
If it's a bug in a specific location that causes crashes or anything, would like you to post the location so others avoid that area until it's fixed. Last patch once before there was a problem with Kyoto, so unsure if it's happened again.
If anyone doesn't mind please post so other players won't have to experience it.

Nah as far as crashes go it has been a lot better other than when you have rapid storm buff I get kicked going into dungeons sometimes, other than that the only complaint I have been hearing is about Steal attack not working but who can really say lol.

Can't say "Steal-Attack" isn't working since it never worked in the first place honestly.
Seems like it reduces drop rate rather than increase it now however.

Steal attack is not working as intended for sure. Let me elaborate as to how I came to this conclusion.
From my experience with Steal attack, it raises drop rate(that's obvious) and forces youkai to drop friendship items even if the level different is large. Since the patch, the same mob that has been dropping friendship item at about 20% rate from using steal and now it doesn't drop. In addition, before the patch I recieve 3 marbles from farming with steal attack and 4 random magas etc. AFTER the patch, I spent the same amount of time at the same place killing the same mob and got nothing(the item drop rate bonus are the same both time). I have also asked many other players about this issue and they are facing the same problem... I mean.. everybody lost here, no steal attack mean lesser marketing which lead to lesser sales and the end result CS will lose benefit from 30% tax

Unlike real currency, taxes on game currencies only act as a currency sink and deterrent from buying from other players. CS doesn't lose anything through less player trades.

Come to think of it, Steal Attack indeed hasn't been giving me friendship items.

I was thinking of high demand with low stock means inflation... and as far as I know inflation spell so many bad things I don't wanna start a research paper in a reply

Quite right. C$ loses nothing if they tax us or not. It's just a deterrent to prevent trading. It's not like the 30% cut turns into extra money or anything. They already got it when we bought the OC. Since we cant cash out OC either... the tax makes little sense.

With min. price being fixed on items, it's unlikely that much inflation will occur, because odds are good in order to offload goods at all, people will sell at minimum price. Having to pay to trade really kills an economy, but the upside is, especially with price fixing, it really curbs inflation. It just.. kind of fucks everyone else over too.

Attempted trying out Steal-Attack today, unsure if it's working or not.
Seems the same to me, there was a minor patch-up, assumed they were fixing the skills reported,
however, nothing seems to have changed? Can anyone confirm? Does your skills work?
Several skills were reported not working, if you own one of those skills, can you confirm it's fixed?

Well I was lvling my skills today and I was using multiple weapons for the same skill to lvl it faster and some how one spear has lvled wind trust II to lvl 17 while the other spear with the same skill(wind trust II) has a lvl 8 so basically while using both one of them was just wasted experience for whatever reason it decided to not put the exp into the one that would most likely be max lvl already and started relvling it seperatly.
