Sigh

I don't understand how I grind Kishinden every day since 3 day of launch for atleast 4 hours and I have not once gotten any thing to drop never not one single Maga this is getting ridiculous when you see them everywhere from people farming them some less time then I have been, I just don't understand it when I have +14% drop from accessories +15% from Title and +30% from login bonus along with the fact I have been using steal attack III since forever, this Server is already a redheaded step child of the Japan server and they can't even give us a decent drop rate event <.<, but I digress I suppose I just wanted to vent my frustration.

the bigger the gap between your level and the monsters level you are killing, the drop rate lowers accordingly.

This is so not true at all. In fact I feel like the bigger gap between your level and the monsters level, the higher drop rate. I even get soft bill from the little grass thingy outside of the 1st town every ~10 of them I kill when I did at least 100 during the first day of release for the soft bill

plus the majority of people I see that get them all the time are in their 50's 70's and 80's. But either way I stayed within 5 lvls of them for 3 weeks it wasnt until last week I finally gave up to lvl for the up coming content which is why I am now only 62 after playing since launch lol so not only am I underlvled compared to everyone who started at the same time I have nothing to show for it. To this day I have gotten nothing so it's kinda hard to even make C to buy things with if I cant get anything to sell and the unfortunate part is I am to poor to buy C even if I wanted to.

Hi All!

Spotted this topic during lunch now and just had to chime in. Unlike lots of "low level" players who are really Aces in disguise, I am a real deal newbie at MMOs since February and at Onigiri for several weeks and have struggled along levelling up with help of good guys on forums like this. That said, I'm puzzled by how many sky-high game pros sigh that they hardly get any lucky boxes or rare items during dungeons and grinds in their levels, but when (now) Ievel 14 me grinds I get all all kinds of lucky boxes and items dropped on me, like eight lucky boxes in an hour last night slinging my axes outside dreary Yamataikoku and I have two "rare" items (a "Demon Lord's Mallet" and a hi-level Artisan's Treasure Sword something) that costs over 40,000 in the selling window (I won't yet!) and I heard newbies rarely get rare items. Am I that lucky? I don't think of myself as a "hard gamer" and I don't really put that many hours in and barely get the points and stats thing, so is this really a fluke or bug in the game I tripped across? Are these prizes normal for a 1st time low level player?

Hi Leafay, if you can, I can help you perhaps leveling or finishing main quest up till Kyoto (at weekend preferably). Sekigahara I'm not very sure since I myself has a hard time clearing it (needed someone else' support)

The last few replies would be a better fit for the Grouping/Recruitment sub-forum :)
