feel free to provide usable data for confirmation or disproving values

manapool: 1 regen / 50 max mana

additions since last update:
110 mind value
30 mind value
----------------------------------------------------------------------

because i was pissed at my low mana region i got myself some values of my characters and of that one of a friend

a rough estimate is about 7 seconds per tick of mana region

the idea is to collect data and somehow derive the way SP are being regenerated. i think this may be helpful for some players as it would prevent them from spending stat points for something they wont get in return. i appreciate any additional character data as well as possible theorys on the topic. (like level or class based)

edit2:

lowering my Mind to 9+1 (from 9+11) and my Max SP by 15% lowered my mana regeneration from 24 / tick to 18 / tick. this actually makes this whole topic alot easier. it either means maximum SP pool is also affecting the mana regeneration or that wisdom and + SP Recovery (like the Millenial Peony) do NOT affect mana regeneration at all. considering that changing my wisdom (dropping by 4 from 70 to 66 total) also lowers the manapool, also did change the statbreakpoint and still had NO effect on mana regeneration it is propably safe to >assume< that only mind is affecting mana regeneration right now as far as attributes go (which is quite a letdown considering wisdom is the attribute you stack for mana regeneration...).

edit3:

adding spirit Hadou and increasing the maximum mana by 7% without any other effects does actually increase the mana regenerated per tick from 24 to 25. great. further experiments with adding and substracting mind also yields results, however i do not posses multiple ways of adding/substracting ONLY max SP aside from that single hadou. if anyone could get into that it would help alot.

this is so screwed up game mechanics wise. its beyond me how jp players didnt start a shitstorm on something like this (well, propably because it isnt as noticeable in an environment with constant invigorates/meditations -.-).

I'm fairly certain that the SP Recovery stat affects the frequency of ticks rather than the value of them. Could be wrong though, as my group has reported a similar frequency of ticks at varying SP recovery values.

thanks for the values and for the frequency: my three regen values are spreaded far out and all have at least a very similar time between ticks. IF the tick time is dependant on SP recovery values, its a really small amount in time. (we are talking about less then a second in differences of 200+)

on a side note: i think that 500 (tested out with that 200 regen wand and different base SP regen values) is a hardcap for the SP recovery value ... not that it changed anything, but im sure its valuable information ... somehow....
anyways: i also tested mana regen from ornaments - that didnt do shit and its needless to say that the wand didnt affect the gained sp / tick either

a quick glimps at your value supports the theory that it is indeed affected by type and/or level, considering the similar values with my Kind character but your far superior SP/tick (well, considering the thing with the hadou, i may scrap that idea and instead start collecting the MAX SP for each listed character, too)

Level 83 - MrsCute (Kind)
SP recovery: 500
Wisdom: 87+28
Mind: 78+24
101SP/tic
Max SP: 1411

And yes, it seems 500 SP recovery is the hard cap for it. Adding more into wisdom does not affect the SP recovery but only adds about 4 SP for me per level.
Wedge flexes a lot.

since we now also have comparable cross class values id say the regen is only calculated out of mind (probably threshhold based) and manapool. keep in mind that there is no math involved yet, thats just how it looks at this point in time.
