on a side note, I'd like to ask if weapon smithing is worth it or the gold drops are better? Crafted items don't have any bonuses over items that are identified or bought. However, the highest tier of crafted weapons have a higher level requirement than (the highest tier of) weapons sold or dropped, and hence have better stats.
