Does the dev team know of this issue, and do they have any plans to fix it?

I've lost two characters to that area, and I can't even leave the village on my third, as I know that I'll just end up losing him too, and I refuse to delete them, as that's just a waste.

If the dev team doesn't know of the issue, how would I go about reporting it to them?

I guess I'm on my own then.
