I recently saw (had to evade older brother to prevent getting the game ereased) that there was a portal on starting town and that portal would take you to a place that looks like London or something like that where there are places for more portals (not working since those places are not implemented or finish-ed right now), does that means that we will hunt spiritual beings on other countries?

Those portals lead to the other towns. There's a portal like that in every town, and they all lead to the same place. The portals will open once you reach each town.
