@ around 0:11 mark there is a girl character with a pony tail..my question is why is this not in the live game? Is it in the japanese version? Also I've noticed in the Nyan that some of the display characters showcasing the outfits you can win. They seem to have hair styles that you cannot normally get as well as some of the npcs have, yet we cannot. Was wondering why that is? Have they not implemented that yet? Seems like something they should've added to the game from the get go for more diversity, I suppose.

Beauty salons are the same in EN and JP, so would assume that those hair styles were offered prior to official service. Although I don't see any reason at all to remove hair styles so the only other explanation I could think of is that they are wearable head pieces. We all know that JP gets all the treats and thus has much more accessories and wearable pieces. I have seen a few players running around with bald caps which is definitely not offered in the salon, especially for female chars, so I would think that a bald cap is one of the many extra head pieces (to possibly include wearable pony tails) offered in JP. I believe majority of these items are exclusive to residents of Japan as they can only be obtained through off-line events that are well, in Japan..
