A little help with my build

Hello peoples! So I am still fairly new and to be honest.. I have no idea whats going on sorta with my stats xD I am using swords right now and I have read a few guides on swords but I don't understand them fully. Here are my current stats and stuff. I would appreciate your input on how I could improve my character in anyway

Your initial approach should be to max out the pow stat asap and by asap, I basically mean first, or get it to ~90 for lvls 1-(70/80)
Secondary stats, kinda depends on your build but dex is generally a good option, but some take wiz for reduced sp cost/mnd for various reasons.
I'm one of those that really DOES NOT recommend you get vit, but eh, if you really think you need it get it. Just don't waste points on it (grabbing like 5 vit or something), because a few points really won't save you.

The general exception to this is if you need mnd pts early to use the staff ougi rapid storm.

For magatama, if you can get affinity maga (ex: +20% sword affinity) WITHOUT buying any, do so and use those to get the 3000 affinity cap (for lvls 100 and under) but what you really want are skillforce magas (ex: skills Rank II+ +25% skillforce).

What the magatama description for skillforce magatamas mean is when your weapon has a skill rank 2 and up, -look at your skillbar and say you see a lunge step II, that would be a rank 2 skill or oni blast III that would be a rank 3 skill- both of these would qualify to get the +25% skillforce boost but say void strike I would not.
(for magatamas the guide posters have some really good ones listed, but if you wanna ask around and get some comparisons that would be a good idea, since it's hard to get magatamas without purchasing them from other people.)
(also the switch to skillforce is good at around 70-90, at lvl 100+ you'll have a higher affinity cap but by now you should have an idea of where you're going and what you'll do for the additional affinity allowance.)

Also, make sure you're grabbing the skillforce magatama specifically designed for your weapon, don't get a spearskillforce magatama when you're using swords etc because it won't count for your sword skills.

As for what skills you should use, you should take a look at what the guide writers say about the skills for a certain weapon, or try whatever ones you have available out for yourself.

Anyhow that's the general gist and guideline. For further advanced stuff, that can wait awhile for when you're more experienced at the game and start hitting a damage/difficulty wall, sorry if the way I write involves a huge clutter of walltext. >.<
