Nyaruko: Getting that Sasuke

Postby Yvona » 31 Oct 2015, 13:55

So, my friend decided to test out the chance to get Platinum Line in the gacha. As you know, the chance are low, but how low? Well, we decided to test it with 200 spins.

Now, for some factors. When you get an item from the gold (costumes) and red (underwear), they are eliminated from the gacha, meaning you cannot roll them again. This does not mean that if you were to "roll" gold, you would get platinum. It just means they are no longer being rolled.

Second, after testing out some things, we found out that the items are not decided by percentage, but rather by weight. Each item has a "weight" in which contributes the chance you get it in the end. An item with less weight means it's harder to get. It means that even if you won all the gold or red items, the weight is the same. It just gets eliminated. The weight of each category, is sadly in the server's binaries, and no amount of sniffing or mining won't it.

Fortunately, during our experiments, we won all the gold and red items before we even got a sasuke scroll. So we started the 200 count from there. We'll categorize how much we won from each category, rather than items. Here is the results:

200 Rolls
Platnium Line (Sasuke)- 2
White Line (Ougi) - 51
Green Line (Skill Cards)- 62
Blue Line (Misc) - 85

With the Gold and Red line up eliminated, we roughly get:

0.5%~1% chance to realistically get Sasuke

Surprisingly, the Ougi line is not extremely rare once the gold and red have been eliminated. If you're aiming for an Ougi, you got 25% chance to obtain an ougi card, whether it is one you need is in the air.

---

Now, we did a 2nd one with a second account, and he charged up OC until he got all 5 SASUKE scrolls and stopped once he got 5. He spun 437 spins. The results:

437 Spins
Platinum (Sasuke) - 5
Gold (Costume) - 4
White (Ougi) - 121
Red (Costume) - 4
Green (Skill Cards) - 142
Blue (Misc) - 161

This may not be totally accurate, since Gold and Red gets eliminated, but from a fresh start, the chance to get 5 was... 0.01% to get all 5 scrolls.

What does it mean?

The chance to get Sasuke is low. Very low. Now, this is just from our own observation, there are some people who probably got all 5 using less than 40 spins, and some who are unlucky, and even after 1000 spins, won't get all 5.

But in any case, betting on a 0.5%~1% is pretty interesting.

I have a friend who not only got Miyamoto Musashi with an SP Gacha, but got Sasuke with his first spin. On the other hand, I spent approximately 3k oc to not get a single Musashi scroll, and I have so far spent 2k oc to not get Sasuke.

Thanks for the experiment though.

I'm glad my friend is ungodly rich. He charged 14,000 oc for the 2nd experiment, to put it in better perspective... he spent over 1,000 usd... (CS at its best). The worse was the 5th scroll... he got the 4th one at like 311, and we thought it'll be less than 400, nope... CS trolled us, lol.

At least hopefully no one will go insane to charge 1000 usd worth of oc again.

Lmao $1.4k. What is life. To be honest I feel it's more luck than anything else. I've had several friends who rolled anywhere between 2-6k and got all 5 scrolls. I've never heard of anyone spending 14k though.

And CS, my favorite company. They just wanted to get him to charge more.

You wouldn't want that. She speaks in kinda a boyish manner, so that'd be gross.

Fortunately, level 2-3 awakening is enough to make good use of her.

Even with a sword's base damage, she's hitting pretty high. So there's no reason to actually get her... to 5, unless you like the extra time and double guage accumulation.

Friendly Reminder: Just like Miyamoto, you have to level up Sasuke. Leaving her at like lv.20-30 is no good. Aim for 100.

I got Sasuke players who complain they wasted money on her, saying her damage sucks, turns out, they were still using her level 5 skills because they hadn't bothered to boost her friendship.

Just farm items near her current level, like if she's lv.50, you should be at Sekigahara or Kaga to farm her items. It's useless to identify the island weapons (500k each identify) when her level is only like 50.

Also interesting to note: She does not seem to be affected when I drink liquers and vanguard swap...

But SHE DID get the benefits of CHIAMI when I had Chiami equipped. So she was healing such insane amounts.

She is literally exactly the same as Musashi in terms of mechanics.

Liquor will not affect her, but your magatama will. It takes your maximum SF, along with all of your elements, cool down reduction, etc. This is why having a high critical and critical force stat is relatively important when playing her.

Do note that she currently has the potential to do the most damage in the game, assuming that you have enough of her passives proc'd.
