not really saying its bad, i actually came to the PC version from my first experience on the PS4, though my PC is really laggy because of all the stuff i've downloaded in the past, the PC Onigiri is still alot more fun than the PS4 version even with lag, but thats not what dis is about.

its almost been a full month since Onigiri release on the PS4. 2 more days, 1 more where other people are at.

and i have to ask.

Are updates even a thing?

I've checked the updates section on here, and i can see that the updates are pretty slow, i dont really mind that, but thats for PC, the only thing i see related to the console versions are the release date times, and thats from awhile back.

I was tempted to even spend money for the Onigiri console version but after i checked the updates section, it sounds like i'm better off spending it on the PC version.

basically:

Should I dump it and just stick with the PC version?
or at least still keep it around and hope for its future?

Unless you have friends on your PS4 that play with you, I wouldn't bother with the console version.

The couple of guys I managed to convince to play on Xbox are the only reason I really play on console. I was also thinking about supporting CS by buying some OC but, seeing as they are pretty shitty at...well, a lot of stuff they ain't getting a cent from me.

Stick to PC if no one on your friends list plays with you, or even convince them to play on PC

I mean you are better of staying pc for many reason.
~Console platforms have a map cap at Echigo at the moment and I have no clue on when they will update. As for pc we have around 6 more areas and at least 45+ more dungeons.
~You could lvl up faster due to the fact there are tons more high lvl players carrying at grind areas.
~You can do offers(watch vis get free oc) can get up to 1-100 oc+ a day where you can't on on consoles.
~I mean you can't even make Juncture weps(lvl 90 weapons) on console.
~Just in general pc has tons more content vs console

It seems the update is in about 1-2 weeks according to the site.

From server open until the next update in Mid-November the accumulated points you spend in the plaza will earn you a prize! So after the November update you'll have more to look forward to than new features, maps, dungeons and more, you'll also be eligible for a present!

I don't really do any PC gaming sadly, and my laptop is pretty old, so it can't run the game that well(worse than my ps4 it seems), and I'm a tech noob, so I'm clueless when it comes to trying to possibly enhance my laptop to the point where it can run this at a decent rate. Luckily, it was enough to make a char on PC just to post on forums here as it wouldn't let me otherwise.
