Hi there. Since Lazy Tentacle has quit Onigiri, I have taken the role of translating the patch notes and updates. I'm not going to translate word-by-word but really just the shit you need to know. If you want to read them yourself, go here: http://onigiri.cyberstep.jp/info/topic/update/16965

As of 1/7/16,
New log-in calender.

Bug fixes.

Nothing for new year this time around, I guess (though I missed it last year so I'm not too sure..).

Thanks for taking up the translating :)

I just wanted to say this that Onigiri usually translates to Rice ball, but in this game it means Demon Slash. Oni for demon and kiri for cut/slash, written as Onigiri when Oni and Kiri are connected.
Anyways it's great to see somebody is taking the responsibility of translating the JP updates after Supreme Tentacle has quit the game.
I hope to hear about updates every week here on this thread.

I know that 鬼斬 means "demon slash". I call it Riceball Online because its a little joke between me and a couple other players. Although it's good to see someone with general knowledge about the Japanese language.

JP has had the New Years event since the beginning of the year, it just wasn't shown on the updates page.
Wouldn't be the first time EN misses out on an event seeing that we lost out on the Halloween event as well.

That sucks. I was kind of looking forward to some kind of events and maybe an accidental reintroduction of rez xD. Oh well.

Another update comes with another translation. Here are the new changes as of 1/14/16
As always, if you want to read them yourself, here is the link: http://onigiri.cyberstep.jp/info/topic/update/17012

New Nyankoropon line up! As always, you can't use Gacha tickets on this one because C$.

New stuff for the "Point Daruma". This time it's a ribbon that comes in 3 different colors. Point Daruma stuff is shared across everyone playing Onigiri, so there is a LIMITED about of "luxury items". There's also a new ougi skill card 15.
Point Daruma's inventory will change every month.

New Nakayoshi thing that even I don't understand the point of.

Spending money on OC = cosmetic items. That's gonna end and you wont get anything by spending money (except for OC)

Premium and SP Gacha tickets will be deleted.

Bug fixes.

Yeah, it's literally "inner teachings." Some dude translated it as "the hidden mysteries/secrets" of some martial art school and it stuck, which might be why a dictionary gives you mystery. The o from 奥 and the gi from 義 give you ougi as the resulting pronunciation.

I can understand why you wouldn't know it though, since it's not something you'd normally see in school xD
