So... has anyone confirmed whether this Magatama can be obtained from a Field Quest in Kikaigahara? It's said after you complete the prerequisite quests "Relief Packages" by Acting Chief Takeru in Kumaso Village, and "Tea Leave Troubles" by Tea Girl Aono in Kikaigahara Rest Area, Mio the Peddler would have a quest called "Natural Mineral Water" in Kikaigahara that gives you an Aries Magatama as a reward. Can anyone confirm whether this quest exists or not? It doesn't seem to be, at least not in Kikaigahara, even after I completed both prerequisite quests.

The quest def exists becuase I've seen it before although not sure on the reward, sometimes how far you are in the story can affect quest availablity, try getting further in the story.

I'm up to Echigo, there's no way a Kikaigahara quest wouldn't be unlocked.

I dunno, I did that quest recently on mym account who was in Izumo so you might have alrady done it by accident and it didn't give the mag.

It definitely exists. I've cleared it with about 14 characters to date. The guy stands not far from Den of Karma, in between the path towards Cave of Screams and the path to Daiku Cave. I've always cleared his quest after Kumaso Village, before going to Yamataikoku. He just chills out, staring at the small field with 4 Kijis and an Ittanmomen. The Nurikabe Field Boss sometimes spawns in that field too. I don't understand how you haven't seen him before.

I'll try looking for it. This character has been created since post-Beta so I might have done it and accidentally gotten rid of the Magatama... I'll check it out anyways.

I did the prerequisites for that quest 2 days ago, I couldn't have already completed it. I tried looking around the area you talked about but he's still nowhere to be found. Does it have to do with me being on the JP server?

That shouldn't have any effect on the quest. He's supposed to exist in both servers and all consoles. You might have to contact C$, because that sounds like a bug. A very strange one though.

What's probably happening is that the wiki (I presume you've gotten the prerequisites from there) shows the prerequisites for the quest to become "available" but not for the guy to appear. I'd recommend trying some Kikai rest area subquests if you haven't done so (although I may be wrong on this part).
