Recovering Characters From Event Boot Crashing

Greetings!

My level 37 character crashed during splash page booting into the festival and it can't be booted again since. I get a "onigiri.exe stopped working. A problem caused program to stop working correctly. Windows will close and notify you if there's any solution." Looks like I lost another character which I had avoid the infamous crashing Rest Stop quest, unlike my first one who got zapped there since I recently returned to game and assumed that trap fixed since.

Is there at least any way to interrupt/cancel event or quest boot-ups to recover or derail characters to other quests before the program crashes and without having to re-create new characters?

Thanks for any assist!

No, you didnt lose ANY characters of yours. Its just your PC cant handle the game or lags. If you still have the set-up program, try clicking on it. It should show an option of repair the game or so (dont know if that works so good luck!)

Greetings!

Ineffective repairing or reinstalling's not the whole story. My Thinkpad handles high-graphics games like AION without a beat, and it plays Onigiri pretty well until it has to boot into some areas like the festival which derails the program, no matter what new characters I create to go there. It was the same two years ago with the Rest Stop quest (still there!) and a few others that disaffected many gamers which tells in the stunning low gamer population now. This flaw keeps the character you had from appearing because it gets stuck in the queue of the boot-up sequence of the faulty area, so that character is effectively inaccessible forever unless there's a way to kick it off the fatal area re-boot. Allowing that option would at least make the game playable without losing hard-won characters and scores. It's a program area/event transition flaw that just hasn't been addressed. Look, I'm thankful for free games, but if there's a pothole I'm reporting it. But for now playing Onigiri is almost like treading a minefield with great areas sprinkled with a few fatal bugs. Things like this shouldn't mar an otherwise fine game!

Welp thanks for realising this is not a fine game. Onigiri sucks already due to crappy RNG anyway.
