Ok we cannot craft the purity magatama, and Izumo Girl Mutsumi cannot be spoken to at all. So we are stuck without the recipe also kaguya is level one and cannot be given friendship items yet anyone have any ideas?

Were you able to speak to Izumo Girl before? If yes, then you probably got the recipe for purity magatama already. Just talk to kaguya, click magatama crafting. A window with crafting recipe should show up. You'll know what to do after that.

No I think this is a post edo update character, on ps4 and the recipe was actually discarded or sold to miroku somehow. Nowadays you cannot do that I made a character and got to the same point in the story and tried. So back then they made the izumo girl give you a duplicate recipe and i think now that script has been removed from the dialog since there is no way to lose the item. So the real queston is will onigiri trouble shooting team put that item in the characters inventory?

You can try sending a ticket. I got bugged in Sleetsword Hell Rew. Up once and they sent me 3 full energy restores within 3 hours of sending a ticket on a Sunday night. But that was on PC...
