Hello guys, I'm new to this forum but for a long time I wanted to play this again, it seems that
there are lots of new things that I didn't know.

But today i'm confused on what do I do next or should I change my weapon style...
I am lvl 90 and using spear at the moment, I want to do the main quest but the dungeons are very hard. Even though
my vit is maxed, those monsters hits hard, I use almost all of my revive when I do solo runs from my main quest.

I would be glad if anyone can help me what to do with my character, here is my screenshots.

Thanks in advance! :)

I guess you are currently around Edo, and yes, from then mobs start to rko you in one hit and get TANKIER. The best advice is to enhance your weapons, hopefully you can hit 6-7k atk total. Also try getting 1 more spear SF mag, replace Sparrow with either Cancer or Gemini for the best result.

You can go #yolo as well; equip nothing but 2 Literature xD (plus marble if possible)

Almost forgot. Consider changing your weapon once you get out of Edo.

I tried on getting the lvl 85 gargoyle spear but it can't be clicked in weapon smithing, I guess my friendship with yoshitsune is too low.

also my spears are all upgraded +50, its very disappointing that I can't even clear Secluded forest without even getting killed.

Yeah you need yoshi lvl 22 for that.

Check if your skills are all at or above rank 5. They tend to get a lot more SF when getting to that rank.

VIT is practically useless in the game, as most enemies further down the road will oneshot you, regardless of your health. Once you manage to clear Edo, and get the Stat Reset, I recommend using it and choosing another class and weapon to main.

When you do that, concentrate on getting your POW and DEX up. If you feel your health is too low, put a few points into VIT. I also recommend some points into MND, as it'll lower the cooldown for skills a bit.

There's a guide here that goes pretty in-depth as to just about everything you need to know, and explains it simply; http://onigiri.cyberstep.com/_/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7939

You are using level 60 spears that are not even upgraded very much. Get a +70/+80 Predator's Spear or Knight's Spear (from Golden Weapon Hunt Youen) and that should let you solo through Edo. It also looks like you haven't ornamented your magatama at all. Equip 2 literature magatama ornamented with Confining Terror, aiming for +crit and skill force from Confining Terror. Equip your Aries or Gemini together with your 2 literatures as soon as you have available chakra; remember that leveling up Amaterasu gives you more chakra. Make sure you are using rank V+ skills with high skill force; tables on http://onigiri.wikia.com/wiki/Spear have skill force values for skills. I mostly used Ice Blossom VII, Revolving Blast V, and Water Dragon Spear V before level 100. Thunder Crack, Stonespire Barrier, and Wind Thrust can also do nice damage. Again, make sure all skills are at least rank V. For some skills, such as Earth Glaive (Wand skill), the rank V version of a skill can be more than 7 times stronger than rank IV. Most skills are at least 3-4x stronger when they reach rank V.

Some good feedback from the people above on tips and opinions. I'll just add my 2 cents.

From the information you have given, I don't see any serious flaws. Good stats distribution, good mag selection, and Amanohibiko is a good weapon. So you're on the right track.

As mentioned before, all you really need to do is work on mags ornamenting (crits and HP%+ are nice nice you're VIT), get rank 5+ skills (preferably on a weapon closer to your level), and upgrade the weapons further. Warding weapons are not a necessity to progress through this game. Normal dungeon weapons work well enough once they've been worked on.

Personally I wouldn't change the build seeing how much effort you already put into the character, but if you do get bored or feel other builds look more fun, go for it. CS do give stat reset for free once in a while (usually for problems with maintenance and such).

Keep at it and have fun~
