*This also might not be in the right sub-forum so I apologize in advance if thats the case.

Hello, My name is Noira (Noai in-game) or Ragaz if you play CB1. I was originally a CBT who only played for a couple of hours before I quit. Now coming back, I've been playing Onigiri for a good week now and I can honestly say that I'm enjoy it so far. Since I didn't understand most of the games dos and donts, I looked at Youtube videos and asked questions in the questions thread (Thanks for everyone who answered my questions). I was introduced to the EXP Ticket Dungeon when I was around level 70 and used it to get to 113 where I am currently. I hadn't understood the consequences of speed leveling until I saw Auro's video on Friendship Items and immediately regretted my decision. I was optimistic that I could get through it (I had already spent a considerable amount of time and didn't want to abandon my partners that I had gotten from the nyankoropon) and thus I got all the way to Satan (which I was able to complete even though I got my ass handed to me).

After all of this, one of the players that was currently in the sewers asked me if I could show him my gear and while I was a bit confused, I showed him it. It wasn't great, but it had gotten me this far in the game so I was pretty happy with it. Needless to say, he didn't seem to happy when he saw my gear and began telling me what I should do. I was in awe and explained my situation about using the EXP Tickets. This was when his entire demeanor changed. He accused me of "not doing it legit" and basically told me to make a new character and not to use the EXP Tickets until I was more acquainted with the game. I told him that I would consider it, but I wasn't going to give up on my character just yet. After this, we went back and forth about what i "should" do until I he gave up and ended the conversation with a very passive-aggressive, "so i will give up on you ^^ good luck without RUSH LVL way".

While I can totally see how he was trying to help me, I specifically told him that I wasn't going to give up on my character just because I was overleveled. I'm all up for suggestions for how I should proceed with the game in my current condition, but telling me to do something that I don't want to do repeatedly isn't going to benefit me in any way. I truly hope that the remainder of the community isn't like this and that this whole experience was one of the few I'll have to experience throughout my Onigiri career.

Welcome back.

One of the best places to farm friendship items is Manrigajima which has several dungeon islands. The drop rates are good even for your level.

Also, level 70 without using exp tickets is as legit as it gets nowadays.

Friendship items are a pain if you overlevel but as long as you can make it to Banjiro to farm more you should be fine.

I generally recommend that new players craft Nothingness Magatama so they can farm sufficient friendship items without overleveling.

Yeah, that sounds about right for the community. I will admit, I'd probably act similarly at first, until you explained that you used the EXP Ticket dungeons. Normally, I see players around that level who leeched their way up, so at you least did it on your own.

Yeah, you're gonna have a difficult time without Friendship Items, but there's a way past that. I'll personally help you.

My ingame name is Avdima, level 120. I'm usually online a good portion of the day, though timezones may make meeting up a little difficult. Let me know what your zone is, and when you can be online, and I'll team up with you and help you grind for Friendship Items.

It'll be best to stock up en masse, so we'll go as far and often as we can until you have 99 of each, then throw it in Shizuka's storage until you either have a comfortable amount, or until your partners are at the current max level.

I'm usually online between 6-10 PM PST. I'll be sure to take you up on your offer, though I don't think I will be able to farm much since I'm pretty busy this week seeing how all my teachers like to jump in and shove so much homework that I can barely get enough time to breathe. That being said, I'll be online more after this week since It'll be spring break for us (this is assuming that my teachers don't give out packets like during winter break).

Ehh tbh a part of the community is kinda weird like that, much like real life lel. I remembered even encoutering a player who wrote this in the party box :
F*CK HIGH LVLS AND RIFT SITTERS
...although he/she ( i dont remember sorry) was around lvl 110 :)))
Forgot my IGN rip (lvl 12- wait I forgot that too)

Ah, PST. That's good, we're both in the same timezone. Let's try and meet up on Saturday in the Rift whenever you can.

There are various different opinions on the subject of EXP Dungeons, but I do believe that the reason why that player does not call it "legit" would be due to the influx of level 115 players who have some rather.... disappointing equipment as well as their lack of understanding on many components of the game. You do not have to take their word by heart, so don't worry about it.

sigh this happens to me too.

I started playing Onigiri about a month ago and I'm currently level 112, so far managed to get to Oushuu Highway. The community isnt as active as I thought, because I've never been into a party so I just solo all the way from the start. The only place where there is a lot of people who's asking for party is at Onigashima, doing the warding.

As for the EXP Tickets, my friend introduced it to me when I was level 60+. I started collecting them and use it until I reached around level 100+. Back then, I never know that Friendship items only drops if you're 10 level more/less than the dungeon and I don't know how important they are in-game. Now I just regret everything because high-level dungeons seems hard for me even on Normal. My equipment is rather disappointing. I want to start off with a new character, but that will take some time so I'll probably do it later because I've spent so much time on my first character and I don't want to abandon it. I already have the recipe from Infernal Gargoyle run that I managed to solo on Normal, but my Yoshitsune level isn't high enough so I can't craft them.. I tried to find someone who can help me with Satan to get the weapon drops, but it seems like no one want to kill Satan anymore. I can kill Satan by myself, but it will take a lot of time and I need to use up all my revive, including Soul Eggs, to kill him and that's not even a guaranteed win.

Right now I just online for a few hours a day to buy the Friendship items from Point Daruma, do some Skill Card warding and maybe a few dungeon run for materials. To be honest, I don't know what to do anymore. I might quit because of frustration, so idk.
