Is Onigiri Pay to Win now?

Seriously, is it? The Drop Rates for Magatama are EXTREMELY LOW and if you want a acceptable Drop Boost, you have to pay for it, or wait a VERY LONG TIME to get a free one in an Update. I'm level 107 and that's only because I've been carried a lot. That's another thing about the game. It seems at some point you are going to NEED to be carried even if you are a high level, otherwise you will NEVER be able to pass the harder dungeouns. I have ended up buying most of my Magatama for all of my weapons because as I said, the Drop Rates are HORRIBLE(Yes, it's the correct Magatama for the weapons I'm using for High Damage(Mostly a Bow user)and even after all that, I still need to get carried. Hell, I've even had to buy weapons because I was also having to buy OC to Spin for Ougi's I really needed, but ended up not getting them. Only yesterday I was lucky after 5 spins to get an Ougi I needed for my Staff/Wand(Ougi Rapid Storm.) Ridiculous. All-in-all, it seems you need to pay for everything now, otherwise you will LITERALLY be left playing this game for the rest of your life trying to get the good stuff to drop. The RNG is just horrible. I know it seems like I've already answered my own question, but I'd like it if someone that's more experienced with the game could give me a relieving answer. Please prove me wrong, because I really want to continue this game. :(

The game is already P2W since it was launched.

Can you show your equipment pls, both weapon (with atk power and skills) and magatama? I may figure out why your damage is low.
Maybe.

Boosts or no boosts, magatama drop rates suck.

I'd suggest sticking to bows if you're struggling for damage (i.e. drop the twin swords if your magatama aren't for it).
Also, use at least rank 5+ skills if you aren't already doing so. I don't know where you're up to in the story so I don't know how good your level and weapons are for it but I'd usually suggest getting higher level weapons (unless you're levelling really fast e.g. through the exp ticket dungeon).

I'd still have to agree that the game is P2W, though, because of the game-breaking affinity/attack accessories, partners and mounts.

Your equipment is pretty good actually. Don't know about skills though. Just make sure you use skills that are rank 5 and above. My equipment was worst back then when I was level 112 and at that time I stuck at Oushuu Highway. Even with bad equipment, I managed to get through all the dungeons before Oushuu using my primary weapon which have rank 5+ skills and 2 decent Ougis. The only dungeon that I need someone to carry me is the 4 dungeons in Oushuu and the dungeons at the moon - which is where I am right now.

As for the magatama drop rates, yeah I feel the same way. Even with 300% or 400% boost, it's not confirmed whether you will get the magatama that you're looking for. But tbh I wasn't really that desperate for magatama and I haven't spend any real money on this game yet so I don't think it's worth it to buy OC and get the magatama that you want, unless the high-level one.

I also agree about the drop boost being a limited item that you can only get on event, or spend some money to buy it. It's really annoying since things like magatama have a very low drop rate. But then again, I still survive without it. It's not a necessary item, at least for me but it will make it easier for you to farm magatamas etc.

I've played for about 2-3 months now and I think the amount of drop boost and gacha tickets that I have received is quite decent, considering it's a P2W game. The only downside for a free player is you can't get the partners or mounts that you want and even if you get them from event, you still need tons of scroll for them to be useful in battle. Having good partners or mounts is really helpful.

It is entirely practical to solo all of the content in the game without paying. Unfairness between players usually stems from their luck and what events they were here for, rather than the amount of money they spent.

Instead of Pay-To-Win, it's more RNG based. I've never spent money on this game, and I'm level 121, currently at the farthest you can go in the story, and have one partner with max scrolls and one mount with max scrolls.

With patience, knowledge of how the game works, and a little luck, a solo player like myself is easily able to play through the game and get things that some players pay money for. It just depends on the RNG, or how long you try to get something.
