Otonashi, does the "Attack" on the status window show true dmg output for normal attack and skills?

k*(SkillElement%)*(BaseAffinity*(1+Affinity%)+MagatamaAttack+WeaponAttack)*(1+Attack%)*(1+Element%)*(1+SkillForce%)

Otonashi, based your dmg formula above, which variable's the most significant dmg in descending order? Also, do you know which combination of magatama'll've the highest dps in the current Onigiri version?

Skill Force% > Element% > Attack% > Affinity%

From the formula, Attack %, element % and skill force % seems to've equal effect, you say Skill Force 1st as ppl usually use skills to attack so skill force % should be the most significant variable right?

Does the "Attack" on the status window show true dmg output for normal attack and skills, as it doesn't seem to?

Well, Attack% is ridiculously hard to get with only the Burai Magatama giving any or the +100 weapon bonus which has no opportunity cost anyway, and since 15% is way less than what Skill Force gives (40+%) or Element (38 or 45 Pierce) it's the least significant. Element doesn't apply to all parts of a skill so you could rate it lower than Attack and Affinity if all your skills are elemental but that doesn't happen often.

It is directly proportionate to damage, but I'm not sure what you mean.

How did you get "15%"?

What you mean element doesn't apply to all parts of a skill?

I say the "Attack" on the status page doesn't show true dmg, as when it shows 2,210, my dmg is lower than when it's 1,899, normal attack and skills( Poison Rapid Arrow IV) was ~100 and ~50 less respectively when it shows 2,210 ( 2,210 was gained by equipping 4x identical bow affinity magatamas, 1,899 was gained by equipping 2x the same "identical bow affinity magatamas" + 2x pierce magatamas).

Burai Magatama gives 15% Attack. The only sources of Attack% known to me are the +100 Weapon Bonus and the Burai Magatama.

Certain Skills have more than one element. Icicle Arrow is 70% Ice 30% Pierce.

Yes, because normal attacks and skills have different skill forces.

So you say that Skill force is more important than element and % Attack?

Well, Attack% would be as good as Skill Force% if they came in equal amounts, but they don't so pretty much. Element like I said only affects skills partially. Of course because of how the damage formula works stacking Skill Force would give diminishing returns hence it's better to calculate what's better, for example if you had 411% Skill Force already through other means, then 45 Pierce Element would cause you to do more damage than 46% Skill Force even while using Lightning (Flash) Shot which is 80% Lightning and 20% Pierce, since at this point the effective 9% Damage boost that the Pierce gives outweighs the 46% Skill Force. If there were a Magatama that gave, for example 20% Attack without drawbacks then it would do more damage than 46% Skill Force once you already have 130% Skill Force.

You can't get Bow Skill Force Magatama through quests or crafting, only through drops. Banana and Pineapple drop from Kishinden Hell with at least a 3man party.
