Hello my fellow magician
I know that feeling. Im still lvl 35 even though i play on 1st day of official release.
But hey, i do enjoy playing as magician, so it doesnt really matter ;)

Here's my wand from 25-35. I cant remember where and when i got it.

But at that lvl, i grind at room of rites in yamataikoku. So, maybe it's from there
Dont forget, have serious fun or having fun seriously, my friend ;)

Hey some more fellow mages! Welcome!
I can see why you are frustrated. We're nowhere near as powerful as all the other weapons, but I found 3 spells which made my life a lot easier.

Fireball is the #1 best single target skill for a wand user. If you aren't spamming this against single targets (or its bigger cousin, Firestrike) then something is wrong with you.
Poison cloud also helps with mobbing when the aggro is off you. It costs less SP than most AOE spells and hits 4 times, stunning the enemy each time.

For a while, I could not find a reliable AOE that can replicate the mobbing power of a spear, axe, or odachi user. And then I found this beauty, Earth Glaive. This thing hits like a truck in a line in front of you. Unfortunately you can only get this in the Gachapon and it's not even an Ougi. :(

Earth Glaive is just Earth Spike VI / VII. It's just one additional spike per level so Earth Spike V should work just as well.
