[Guide] Status Points -- Work in Progress

We're in pretty desperate need of a guide that covers this, as AutismKnight's guide is uh... incorrect to say the least. Anyways, let's get started. Status points are one of the important parts about your character. They will not only dictate the types of weaponry that you are able to use efficiently, but also allow you to customize your character to some extent, so that it can better suit your playstyle. Each of the core stats has accompanying bonuses. Setting affinity aside, the bonuses should dictate the way that you decide to build your character.
Note that the bonuses to attack , critical rate and cooldown reduction scale additively with one another. That is the formulas for them are as follows
Critical Rate = (truncate) [(Wis + {Dex * 2})/24]
Attack Speed = (truncate) [(Dex + {Pow * 2})/24]
Cooldown Reduction = (truncate) [(Mind + {Dex * 2})/24]
So with that out of the way, let's look at the five character types that will dictate your stat growth:
/wikirip
Stat priority of 1 means that it experiences the most growth. Note that you will not see any innate stat growth after lv. 105 (perhaps 100? not confirmed.) So what do you choose? Do you have to use the power type just because you want to use a power-based weapon? Surprisingly, the answer to that is no. While you do get a slight bit more affinity, when you're near level cap, you only have 1 more power using the power type than you would using the daring type. This is honestly not a very significant change in your attack stat, assuming that you have not reached max affinity. Hence, its best to choose a type that matches your playstyle. I've made some reccomendations below.
Sword, Axe and Odachi
Daring
Allows for maximum damage output. Take Power if you're feeling too squishy, but keep in mind that you won't get much tankier anyways.
Wands
Kind or Cautious
Kind gives you more sustain, cautious gives you more DPS
Staves
Kind
Gives you maximum affinity and minimum mana costs (or at least lets you have them sooner rather than later)
Spears
Power
Affinity pls
TS and Bow
Daring
Same as spear
More details to come when I'm feeling less lazy, but that should be the gist of it.
So how do you build? Well to start, you first choose one type of weapon you want to use... and essentially max out your affinity for it. Keep in mind you can get titles to help you along with that. Once that's done, you branch into your own preferences. Most people get Dex because of the huge amount of benefits it provides. 40 Mind is also a staple so you can cast rapid storm on yourself. The rest is purely up to your personal preference. Keep in mind that between Lv 101 and 110, you will get 100 extra maximum possible affinity per level, and that from Lv. 111 to 120, you will gain 400 extra maximum possible affinity per level.
With level 120 cap in place, the affinity cap reaches 8k.
Feel free to let me know if I missed anything.
