I don't do AMV due to partnership reasons and copyright, and ect.......

But I do have contact to use some songs freely ...

but I still have all my Video from way way way long time ago, back when YT was new ._.

yeah there is a grey area but I do know AMVs bring them tons of business I dont know how many times I have been asked "what anime is that" and then they get it and watch or "what song is that" ect.. ^^ so if nothing I think they leave us alone more so now cuz they realized it has been bringing them monies and we just do it for fun not for profit

As a YT partner though, you can't do it anymore, you sign your account into an contract - and if there is any type copyright on your account, (even if you don't make money off it). you can be risk of sue, so it avoided all together by partnerships.

what a good thing that not every piece of music is bound to labels. on newgrounds for example you find music with a much less stuck up license.
