Why can't people have different eye colors? It's their gene.

Check her hair, this might go just beyond Heterochromia, a vague response would be an unatural cause, more specific one, that might be just because she its not only a bakeneko or just cause she possesed someone

She's not a bakeneko. She's an oni, but not a bakeneko e-e She may have just dyed her hair, too.

Long ago i read that Oni are a Youkai (spiritual being iirc) Bakeneko are Youkai as well so she might be an Oni that comes from a Neko-looking tribe or just a descendant of a Neko Youkai and an Oni
Doing that, writing that about Heterochromia and hair dyed just kill imagination, if i wanted i could say that she got a contact to make people believe that she has Heterochromia, besides she has red hair dont think that someone just gonna die it black just for having it like that

At least respond with creativity and some youkais can morph into humans, of course it does not mean that C.S. will just do that if they dont want Miroku its one Kitsune iirc (it plainly means fox but also used for fox youkai) Kyubi (Kyu=Nine and Bi that i presume that comes from Bijū=Tailed Beast) Its commonly asociated with a fox so it turns into Kyubi no Kitsune (Nine Tailed Fox) also a Youkai that can morph but as i found here they can be fought as were animals
