Well, just curious about it because I saw the companion system in the game to be somewhat similar to SWTOR. Basically in SWTOR at certain points of the story some NPCs will join you as companion, and just like here, there to advance affection with your companion you will have to give gifts. Although the system itself isn't really new, now that I think if it, since way back in Pokemon this thing existed (Pokemon Yellow comes to mind since you give certain things to Pikachu to make him happy). Just wondering here. In SWTOR though you can romance your companion, so I don't know yet if it can also be done here with your companion.

Well, it'd be cool, like Kaguya is so moe~ <3 (so is Momotarou), but sadly no.
Even though after the Sakurajima quest there might be this 'interested' thing under Shizuka's friendship level, but errr... later she becomes your BFF.
