My first question is what is the max level for a skill before it can be upgraded? Someone in CBT told me it was 20, but my rapid shot is now 21.

Where can I find charcoal?

And for bow users, what is the best bow to use after the greatbow/dark fledgling sparrow bow in Izumo?

how do you level up your skill?

Max level of the skill is dependent on the rank of the skill. For example , rapid shot 1 has a cap of 10, while rapid shot 3 has a cap of level 30. Charcoal drops from the higher level form of nurakabes located on the mountain where you fight Odin as well as in the nether world sekigahara and related dungeons.

As for bows, lvl 25-34, I typically used Artemis and black cloud. Recommend heavy Ice rattan or failnaught past lvl 35. Artemis and black cloud have decent drop rates at byakkou where as ice rattans and failnaught, I farm gedoumaru.

By using the skill more frequently, you level up the skill and the damage it can do. Only certain weapons with double borders on said skill and required momotarou rank can evolve it to the next tier. I think I covered most of it in general.
