Weapon Skills

Postby Chernobog » 06 Jul 2014, 17:36

I've tried hunting Tiamat (normal) from level 16 > 17 but only got 1 twin blade with good skills. Now I'm trying to get a decent Balmung from Byakkou by partying with others (twin blades are not so welcome :x) but so far I haven't gotten anything with good skills (damn Poison Blade I). Should I keep on hunting or try Skill Change while Smelting? What other options are good for Smelting?

Also, what Twin Blade skills are used for grinding?

Thanks.

I understand what you mean when it comes to the poison blade skill. However, when it comes down to it, the only thing you can do is grind and hope to get something different skill wise, after identifying items. Of course, you can also hope to get skill cards as well.

Eh...adding on to your question about TB Skills for grinding, I generally utilise a TBS - PF combo on my Koryuukagemitsu. If you wish for stronger skills, try BFB III and above (That range is great) or SS III and above. You should also look for faster cooldown skills and combo them for decent damage.
[Btw, I actually have two twin swords for grinding. And yes, =_= They run to swords, odachis, spears for damage but hardly twin swords unless your level is good. Chill though, most parties I see still want TB users so ^^.]

So it seems that my grinding is not inefficient based on your replies. I'll try to keep on doing that then. Thanks.
