Lack of support here and Full screen option disabled.

Postby Fatal » 19 Jul 2014, 11:15

Just want to say their a lack of support here as there has been many topics about this subject yet no one seems to care to reply to those topics. The full screen for some reason is disabled. I can not select it on either resolution in game. Nor when i change my pc full screen I am to change it. I am going try reinstalling it see if it fixes but doubt it. I find it extremely funny that a game makes it so complicated just to get it full screen or not. Even browser games have options to make it full screen with out any complications. No reason why this type of game should have issues with such simple things. If the game is not even completed yet why did you release it? I can't see the chat box at all in the specific resolutions they give me. I can't go in full screen to fix it either. This sorta of thing should be on priority list as if you can't even see the game. Then how the hell would you be able to even play it correctly.

I just tried to fullscreen and it was working just fine.
I believe that at the time of Omegah's post about the issue the fullscreen hadn't been implemented yet but now I can't really say the same thing.

The thing is mine is disabled. Like literally it's grayed out. I tried changing up resolutions on my desktop and through the game and can't check the box or anything. I have 1366x768 desktop resolution so idk if that's the problem or what. There was a post like this too but the person who replied didn't give any good answers. There has to be a way to fix this issue. Here's the link to the thread. It's basically the same thing as mine. i tried uninstalling the game and re installing but that does not work.

Again, it's possible that the problem in the other thread was caused by beta being beta. (as previously we had basically no graphical options at all to begin with during alpha and gained "some" in beta)

I just asked two friends and they said when going into full screen they get 1280x800 resolution while I get 1920x1080.
Show me a screenshot of your problem now when the game is fully released and maybe I can get more information since Omegah's screenshot is outdated in problem accuracy.

If this is actually your maximum resolution, then i guess you are out of luck - don't play with a bad Netbook/Notebook in this case.
The game does simply not support such low resolutions to my knowledge, so you are out of luck because the issue is on your end.

Get a decent computer with an up-to-date resolution like 1080p that is standard even for netbooks nowadays.

Okay, I'm using a 7 year-old R60 Thinkpad for games which has a screen display of 1024x768. The game's not full screen but in a full screen window whose right border goes "off screen" but that's no biggie because I can view most everything. It's no speed demon and the keyboard and mouse combo is given to fits and starts but at least it's playable -- and a handicap to blame my scores on! :D
