Steal Attack - Broken

After today's patch steal attack no longer seems to be properly working. Several others have also noticed this. After 14 runs I got 0 magatama, 0 friendship items, and 5 ryou boxes. Anyone who normally uses steal attack should know how this is pretty much..... impossible.

Just checking: When you mention 0 friendship items and so on, do you refer to the youkai you used Steal Attack on or the total run? Also, where are you grinding btw? :p

I pretty much only use steal attack the entire run by grouping the enemies then striking. Less then 15 enemies are killed without its use per run. Dungeon in question is Kishinden. Prior to the patch you could say I averaged at 1 magatama, 3-6 friendship items, and 2-5 ryou boxes per run since I have a bonus 15%, 7%, and 7% to my item drop rate. Not sure if the total is simply added together for 29% or added in a different formula.

Hm...Kishinden does have a moderate drop amount and this is...startling. Here are some things to note:
1. Item drop rate is not added together but compounded. E.g. A bonus 15%, 7%, and 7% would be (1.15 x 1.07 x 10.7) x Normal drop rate = ~1.32x Normal drop rate
2. Magatama only drop from dungeons on Hard or Hell difficulties. Opened boxes are an exception, and have a chance to drop magatama regardless of the difficulty.
3. It's not just you - I'm getting bad drop rates too with Steal Attack too .-. Numerous people are raising this issue after the patch and I will say it is likely the patch changed the drop rate. Hoping for the exact patch details to be released from the GM instead of a sketchy layout. ._.= And yes the skill seems useless now too...

Yes I already have confirmed others having the same problem. See I farm kishinden quite.... frequently. Pretty sure most people would know me for it if name is mentioned lol. So I recognized the drop differences instantly. I have put in a ticket but no response.

Happened to me too..
3hours in daiku cave, no glass marbles, no friendship items, only few ryou boxes.. all mobs are killed with steal attack
