You got Yoshitsune to Level 20 and only just realised you can't smith? I don't even...

Look, just go back to Kishinden, whup the Chief Daruma, he'll give you another Oninodachi Recipe (I'm assuming you sold/deleted the original one) and then you'll be able to smith it.

I would lecture you, but I had a similar problem with my 3rd character (Magic Maelstrom). I sold the recipe because I didn't want that sword, not realising that I need to craft it in order to have Smithing available. And before you ask, that character is a WIS/MND build, so an Oodachi is no good to him. The Iwaotoshi on the other hand... me likey.
