Greeting,
for over 8 hours im having lag-like issues ... when i go to the character selection and click start , the game doesnt start loading , but if it does , it shows the login screen , but the loading bar doesnt move and after 30-60 seconds , i get timeout message
here are a couple screenshots


the site loads for over a minute , so does the forum...my connection seems fine , because i have no prob with other games or youtube
i logged in once , with 2 characters to take my daily bonus , but after 2-3 mins , i got the same not-loading loading screen and the same timeout message
i hope it can be fixed

It's your internet being shit.

The routing algorithm is bugging out and putting you through a large number of gateways whenever you try and access CS's servers.

Get a VPN.

Actually it's not just him.

Same here, I have serious game stability issues with the same error messages as well.

Ping and trace are both fine, game files are the same (date checked).

Update:

I asked a friend to log on.
he has the same issues, different ISP though.

We both live in central EU, are you from EU as well TheClockMonster

Again, it's due to a routing issue. Different ISP's may use similar routes.

As far as I know, many players that live further away are having this issue, whereas people in NA are still able to play.

The easiest way to fix it is just to get WTFAST or some other non-trash tier VPN

EDIT:I did nothing and currently im IG without any no p.r.oblems ... maybe the p.r.oblem was temporary

It's cause things change. Perhaps one of the gateways you normally get routed through was temporarily down, or something like that.
