The game is bugged on PC currently so no new character can complete the quest and progress.

We know, but so far CS hasn't done anything. It's been recommended that we spam them with tickets about the issue until they get fed up with the influx and pull their thumbs out of their arses.

Around two weeks or more I think, I could be wrong though but I'm sure its been at least two weeks.

It's up to two weeks now I think, give or take a day or two. Luckily I'm not in any kind of hurry, and I have other things for my characters to do while we wait. I don't advise Exp grinding while you wait, unless you want to become overlevelled.

Well I was near level 45 or so when i got toit so i probably should be now..

My suggestion would be to get skill force magatama. Most of them drop from lower level dungeons (check the wiki for the modes and pt sizes) and a few subquests also give them. Too many people still using defence/crit magatama in Echigo -.-"

The magatama do take a while to grind so you might as well.

Edit: My bad. The rates vary so hard mode can be better in some cases.
